The Christian Reformed Church in the Dominican Republic was founded in 1981. They meet in National Assembly once a year and their Central Committee meets once a month. They have 230 congregations of which 105 are informal preaching places assisted by an Elder Preacher. The 82 pastors serve some 3,500 members. They have about 9,000 attenders on any given Sunday. They have adopted the Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort and the Belgic Confession as their doctrinal standards.
