The Church of Toraja Mamasa was founded July 7, 1947. They have 458 congregations in six regions. The 138 ministers serve some 120,000 members and regular attenders. The churches meet every five years in a general synod. They have adopted the Heidelberg Catechism and the Confession of Reformed Churches as their doctrinal standards.
