Bringing Reformed Church Leaders Together

Christian Reformed Church of East Africa (CRCEA) The CRCEA began in Kenya in 1992, when several pastors unitedly received a vision and mission to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ beyond the Kenyan borders. The church is now registered in Uganda, seeks registration in Kenya, and has plans to extend missions to Sudan and the whole of Eastern Africa. The CRCEA is educating pastors on a part-time basis in the meantime. It also hopes to build a Christian college or university, and has plans to buy land. Educational seminars are planned for several classes of church members and leaders. The CRCEA currently has about 10 local church gatherings, served by 5 ordained pastors and 10 evangelists. In this young church, finances are a problem. Pastors have all been serving on a voluntary basis, and the CRCEA is searching for ways to finance its institutional plans. It uses brick-making and agricultural projects to raise local funds.
