Reformed Presbyterian Church in Uganda The Reformed Presbyterian Church in Uganda is a very young church. In June 1995 they formed the first presbytery of the RPC in Uganda. They formed from pastors who left the (also young) Presbyterian Church, which had leadership and discipline problems. They have now grown into a General Assembly with seven Presbyteries. They have more than 100 organized congregations and several hundred preaching stations. They have 40 ordained ministers and many evangelists who serve some 60,000 members and regular attenders. They have adopted the Westminster Confession, the Belgic Confession and the Heidelberg Catechism as their doctrinal standards. The RPC in Uganda has many opportunities to plant new congregations and start social projects all over the nation, but they have financial need.
