Reformed Church in Zambia
The Reformed Church in Zambia was founded in 1899. They have 154 congregations with 308 unorganized churches or preaching stations. The 110 ministers and 39 evangelists serve some 150,000 members and regular attenders. The General Synod meets every four years with two delegates from each of the 154 congregations, together with the Moderamen of the Synod. Secretaries of Ministerial Training committee, Education Department, Skills Training Centres, Women's desk, Diaconal desk, Health board, and Youth desk serve as advisors. They have adopted the Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, and the Canons of Dort as their doctrinal standards.
